Interior Designers were thrilled to be commissioned to do the complete renovation and remodel of this extraordinary detached home in a conservation area in Auckland. The scope comprised a full interior decoration, interior architecture, structural, lighting, and landscape design scheme all done in-house by our interior designers.
The brief was to update the home, reusing the spaces to suit the client’s prerequisites and lifestyle. Careful thought was given to improving and making a more cohesive flow all through.
Major underlying modifications were required which gave an opportunity to execute some contemporary, yet thoughtful, architectural detailing.
We interpreted the client’s passion for making a home that was modern and elegant with colors, texture, variety, pattern, and material decisions being at the core of the scheme.
Everything in this project was thought of and is reflective of the first short; we used perfect textures and materials all through including bronze metals, limestone, marble, velvets, and delicate tweeds. The interior palette is based around warm neutrals with extravagant detailing warm pops of energetic variety, and vibrant color, giving a perfect, sophisticated style and environment to the property.
All bespoke tailored joinery, including the kitchen, restrooms, sumptuous master suite, and a significant part of the free-standing furniture was planned by our interior designer’s team in Auckland.
The lighting plan was designed to improve the sensation of room and light, to feature the client’s specialty collection, and showcase key plan details throughout the property.
